Mattel nous fait des cachotteries ou oublie de mettre a son jour son site ??

La logique voudrait qu'une grande graduation fasse 5% pour arriver a 100% au maximum de la tour , or en comptant bien , sur cette tour on est a 50% ( et non 71% )

Ca me dégoute, je suis le seul à pas pouvoir commander. Je suis sûr que ma carte archi protectrice m'empeche de commander. J'espère que si ça passe, le premier Janvier je pourrais préco.

Je pensais que la fleche rouge montrait uniquement la tour et que le but etait de rendre la tour entierement rouge ... vu que c'est le minimum du 12 novembre qui compte pour Mattel pour lancer la production , a moins que ce soit uniquement le nombre de commandes jusqu'a janvier 2013 qui definiera le nombre de Castle Grayskull a produire ...mais ce serai surprenant .
Je vais attendre le Lundi 12 novembre et lire les resultats et le chiffre exact donné par Toyguru et Mattel .
De toute façon , lors de l'abonnement 2013 ,les sondages etaient egalement restés bloqués a 92% avant que ( comme par magie ) Mattel nous annonce que les abonnements avaient dépassés les 120% ....

AFi: This isn’t your first presell, and as you mentioned in the past there’s always a big spike on the first day and then one more big last minute spike on the last day. Do you think that will be the case for Castle Grayskull?
TG: I certainly hope so. At this point we won’t hit our goal based on our current daily average so we are hoping there are some last weekend buyers out there. We didn’t hit with the previous YJ presale even with a last day spike do we are hoping not only for a spike but a big one!

AFi: So if we meet the minimum pre-order by Sunday then the pre-order window will stay open until January. If pre-orders continue to climb after that what can fans expect? A cheaper price? More features?
TG: honestly, the minimum is to get the castle made as is. Even with more than the minimum that won’t really let us change the price or offer more. We are putting all we can into this now!

AFi: You mentioned in one of your videos that we seem to get a Castle Grayskull every 10 years. You have been able to gather a group that had a hand in the previous 2 versions to contribute to this one. What has been their greatest input and learning that they contributed to this new version?
TG: while we’ve had “3″ in 31 years, we didn’t really have one every 10 years (1982, 2002, 2013 hopefully). The 2002 version was a bit of a reimagine based on the new “look” for the show. I personally think that castle moved away a bit too much from the previous look. There are certain element that are just “instant castle Grayskull” and while the 2002 castle had things like the Jaw Bridge, other elements like the action feature it included (recognizing good or bad guys based on chips in the feet) wound up shrinking the jaw bridge opening so much He-man couldn’t walk thought! For this new one we want to ensure figures can stand in that doorway!

AFi: Playsets are a bit of a dying art in the toy world because of cost and how much real estate they take up on store shelves, but this one is different because it’s not a retail item (is that a first for a playset?) because of all those factors was this a tough pitch to management?
TG: only in terms of the enormous amount of tooling. That is why we had the preorder quota. We needed to “prove” to management (if you will) that we had enough customers to justify the production first. It actually is a great way to do this (assuming we get the preorder minimum)!

ActionFigureInsider: This is really the first Castle Grayskull designed by a team of fans, that also happen to be toy makers. As a life-long MOTU fan, what is the experience like to be working on, updating and designing one of the most iconic playsets in toy history?
ToyGuru: Very surreal. CG isn’t just a playset, it is a pop culture and toy icon. We all feel a great sense of responsibility going into this to execute this right, not just for the fans but for toy history as well. I would put this, the Hoverboard and our upcoming Watchmen line as three of the items I am most honored to have been able to work on. It is intimidating and exciting at the same time!

AFi: Were there features, Easter eggs or design elements that you always wanted your original (vintage) Castle Grayskull to have?
TG: For me personally I always wish the sculpted door on the back opened. I wished there was a “secret” way to break in (for bad guys if you will) and I am thrilled we are adding that into the current design (along with a second secret door on the side ledge). I really think this adds to the play value.

AFi: Since you are still in a pre-sell phase and don’t have the full greenlight are you having to hold back the Four Horsemen and the design team? I would imagine great ideas keep coming to them “OH! We could do ______.” And then you have to say “Hold on guys… save it for when we know it’s going forward.”
TG: Oh we definitely do. The team came up with a lot of ideas for things to put into this castle and not everyone will be able to make it in and still keep the cost at 250.00. Some of the ideas folks had would have shot this thing well into 500.00 plus! When you are designing a castle Grayskull you are just tempted to put everything possible in! But we still wanted to keep the price reasonable at 250.00. That was the only factor limiting our imagination.

AFi: Have the Horsemen, the design team or yourself come up with any element or feature that’s just too out there or expensive to incorporate?
TG: Definitely (as noted above). Keep this at 250.00 was not easy. Too much cool stuff we wanted to keep adding. More rooms, more accessories, more walls, things like that.

AFi:You often been quoted as saying that we most likely wouldn’t get a Castle Grayskull playset unless it was a “movie year.” Since tooling is SO expensive and it looks like a MOTU feature film is getting a bit closer (director named and new writers) are you looking at elements from the playset that could be swapped out or reused if it would fit the movie design?
TG: Not at all. While I could see Classics ( as a line) being part of a hypothetical mainstream relaunch in a small way during a movie year, the movie is and always has been its own thing. This classics castle is designed for nostalgia and fans. If a movie happens it will likely not use “classics” parts. We don’t want to restrict the imagination of filmmakers or other future creators by forcing them to use an existing toy in their design (if you will).

AFi: Do you have a favorite element or design feature of this new Castle?
TG: The rotating brick wall (entrance) on the ledge. So cool! Bad guys need a way to invade or good guys can sneak out. It always bugged me that their was only one way in or out of old one. A fortress of mystery and power needs secret entrances! I also love the orb chamber.

AFi: You mentioned before that you are working to incorporate as many cool features as you can (trap doors, Wind Raider landing pad, detachable front for display) and you are exploring possibly tying in previous elements (Orb of Power stand, weapons rack, Scareglow’s key) to this new version. If the sale goes well are you looking to add “add-on” elements to it maybe in the 2014 sub? Or just on MattyCollector.com?
TG: Definitely possible much as we did the weapon rack. We’ll have to take this one step at a time but anything is possible.

AFi: Here we are, home stretch - It’s last call. What’s one more thing you want to tell the fans that are still on the fence about pre-ordering?
TG: I suppose I’d just note that this isn’t just about getting a playset. This is THE playset and honestly this version of the castle (I expect) will go on to become one of the greatest toys ever made (and that is saying a lot I know). Doing a “collector scale” playset is a very rare opportunity and by supporting this presale fans are really supporting an item that will make them the envy of anyone left out. We’ve all been asking for this for years, we have a shot to make it happen. Don’t take this opportunity for granted! We have the power!

J'ai une question qui me tracasse depuis le lancement des pre-commandes !!
Toyguru lance une date limite de pre-commandes jusqu'au 4 janvier 2013 , cela veut dire que Mattel ne produira que le nombre de Castle Grayskull qui seront pre-commandés ??
ça serait surprenant tout de meme !!
J'en ai pre-commandé un ...mais si je souhaite en offrir un 2eme pour Noel 2013 ou m'en prendre un 2eme pour decorer d'avantages la vitrine , c'est seulement possible jusqu'au 4 janvier 2013 ???

Peut etre que Luluberlu a d'avantages d'informations sur le fonctionnement des pre-commandes et s'il a egalement ( deja ) passé commande pour des ( futurs ) Castle Grayskull disponible sur son site ...

Les expeditions se feront mi decembre 2013, livraison janvier en France, pour noel ça va etre chaud.

Les precom qui viennent d'etre faites sont pour valider la fabrication, maintenant les commandes jusqu'en janvier ne modifient pas la donne

Mattel ne produira pas beaucoup plus d'exemplaires que le nombre précommandé, afin de ne pas rester avec des invendus sur les bras (ce qui coute cher à stocker). Il y en aura surement quelques exemplaires disponibles sur leur site pour les retardataires en décembre 2013, mais à un prix bien supérieur (minimum $50 à $100 de plus).

Le Château sera évidemment disponible sur lulu-berlu.com, mais, comme pour le reste de la gamme, nous ne mettrons en place les précommandes qu'un ou eux mois avant sa sortie. On a le temps de voir d'ici là...

la réponse est pas encore de prix a donner, principalement à cause des frais de port...
ca c'est ce qui est dit

personnellement, j'estimerai à la louche 320€ à 350€ l’achat en magasin (hors frais de port)

C'est impossible pour nous d'annoncer d'ores et déjà un tarif, car il y a encore trop d'inconnues, notamant les frais de port et les frais de douane (sans rentrer dans les détails, le tarif douanier applicable sur un jouet de type "playset" est différent que celui d'une figurine humaine ou d'une figurine non-humaine... bref...), et le taux de conversion Euro/Dollar qui ne sera pas forcément le même qu'aujourd'hui dans un an...

Quoi qu'il en soit, n'écoute pas le Prince à dents ( )... ce ne sera pas vendu à 320 euros. A ce tarif là (TTC), on le vendrait à perte.
A suivre donc... mais on a le temps de voir venir...
